Steve's 2010 vintage won the Best Sauvignon Blanc Trophy at the 2011 Wine Challenge  - the 2011 vintage of Sauvignon Blanc shows a mineral pureness, of ripe tropical flavours, gooseberries, a hint of citrus, balanced by a lush herbaceousness of green tomato stalks and capsicums. The nose has the richness of peach and apricot yet behind there is freshness coming from the lime and grapefruit.   Grilled or poached fish, New Zealand green-lip mussels, crayfish, oysters, quiche, pate, salads and chicken are great matches to this stunning wine.
